Remember...

Happy Memorial Day to you all. Thank you so much to those of you who have served, or have family members who have served. Your sacrifices mean our freedom. Let us not forget the true meaning of this day.

It's been me and my three littlest this weekend. Not a whole lot of scrappy time going on here, a little tougher to squeeze it in when you are flying solo. However, I was able to give my latest Studio Calico kit some loving and made this fun little layout.

Love that Buzz and Bloom bubbles chipboard!
Enjoy your day!

Welcome Bunny Hoppers!!!!!

It must be that time of the month again, time to announce the guest designer for Bo Bunny. This next month we are very lucky and honored to have someone who has recently taken a trip to San Francisco. Yep, that was your hint. Have you figured it out yet???

While you are thinking about it, I'll give you a lookie at a super quick card I made using the new Paradise line. Perfect colors for masculine layouts and cards.

Now I'll send you over to Christine's blog. She is one super talented lady, take some time to look around her blog a bit. Here's your link.

Welcome PTI blog hoppers...

Hey everyone....WELCOME! Love this time of the month and think it is so much fun to cruise around and see what everyone has done with the challenge.

This month we were challenged to use felt. I am quite smitten with the new PTI felt, as far as felt goes it is luxurious! I chose to use the vintage cream and chartreuse felt. Next I added the color Sweet Blush for a touch of softness.

Not sure if you can see it in these pics., but I lightly colored the inside of the little lilies with a pale pink and then topped it with a touch of glitter. Hope you all have enjoyed my little creation and I am looking forward to visiting you all as well.

Vintage Days over at Collage Press

While we are patiently waiting the new release, those of us on the design team over at Collage Press decided that we would have some fun by making layouts using some older Collage Press lines. I happened to have a stash of Camden from a while back that I hadn't had the chance to use yet. Perfect for these photos of my oldest son that I had from last summer!

Head over to the Collage Press blog and check out what the other designers are coming up with.

Cards Galore

I love to make them. When I am done working with a kit I love to take the leftovers and use them on cards. These were all made using mostly all leftover items from the A Million Memories May kit that I used in the post before this.

First, this one needs a little intro.. You see I adore the amount of crocheting that Stacy Cohen does on her work and I have been wanting to learn how to crochet all because of her. So, when the family took a vacation to Arizona a couple of months ago, I had a goal. You see the perfect crochet mentors were there...my mom and her cousin Mary Sue. I know they think I forgot since they haven't seen me use it on anything. Well, yesterday I saw the sweet comment that "Merry Susie" left on my blog and although I know she didn't mean it as such, I took it as a challenge. I LOVE a challenge. Just ask my mom. :)

Hope I make you two proud! xoxo (you can click on the photo to inspect my work, just don't look too close!)

It's almost the weekend. Enjoy! Thanks for taking a peek today!

AMM & Clear Scraps

Hey all! No, I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth. I managed to get sick with a nasty cold that turned into a sinus infection. I haven't been knocked off of my keester like that in a really long time. Then when I started feeling better, two of my boys celebrated birthdays and well...the old blog took a back seat.

First up, the May kit from A Million Memories. Full of new October Afternoon...LOVE

a quick little card for my nephew...

I also have a few more cards that I made with the kit, just need to photograph them and then I will share those too.

Next, is a layout made with all Cosmo Cricket. They are a very generous company and sponsor both the design teams at A Million Memories and Clear Scraps. So, I combined the two and came up with this layout. The clear arrow is from Clear Scraps, I outlined it with a ZIG paint pen.

That's it for now...I'll try to not be such a stranger! Thanks for stoppin' by.

Clear Scraps Blog Hop

Welcome to the Clear Scraps blog hop!
We're so excited you joined us this weekend to help us celebrate all our Moms and the women who play a mothering role in our lives.

Before we get down to business here is a new layout that I just finished up. It features papers from My Mind's Eye. I used one of the 12x12 Clear Scraps sheets to hand cut the raindrops. Love these sheets, they cut so easily, especially if you have the Tim Holtz scissors.

If you haven't started at the beginning, you may want to go back to the Clear Scraps Blog   and start there.  Leave a comment on all our DT blogs, come back to the Clear Scraps blog and let us know you did, and you'll be entered into a draw for a $25 goodie bag of acrylic from Clear Scraps.  We hope you're inspired, both about acrylic, and about making something special for the "Mom" in your life this weekend.
